Nothing Brings Fear of Unknown Horror, Like the Right Sound Design Elements.
Paramount Pictures introduced their new disaster-horror-film, Crawl with The Hit House’s sound design elements. Crafted by Chad J. Hughes & his Framework album creations, & Scott Lee Miller’s work on our Drones album, the perfect elements helped to add nailbiting tension, thrilling horror, & pulse-pounding fear to an already fright inducing trailer.
Directed by Alexandre Aja, who also directed The Hills Have Eyes, Crawl was written by Michael Rasmussen & Shawn Rasmussen. When a Category 5 hurricane threatens Florida & causes mass evacuations, a young woman, Haley Keller (Kaya Scodelario) is trapped in a flooded house with her father Dave Keller (Barry Pepper), as alligators surround them & make the storm only a secondary existential crisis. Crawl also stars Ross Anderson, Anson Boon, & Jose Palma.
When your next project calls for elements of rising tension & outright terror in sound design, remember to get in touch with The Hit House, because we’ve got you covered. Regardless of how high the water floods, & how many monsters are invading our backyards, we know we’ll have the ideal music & sound design for you. Until your call, we’ll be ready, & excited for Crawl to hit theaters on July 12.
