Before the Fellowship of the Ring, there was J.R.R. Tolkien & an Alliance of Friends

To tell the story of the legendary author, Fox Searchlight needed the ideal music to lend an epic ambiance. The Hit House’s trailer music helped set the tone for illustrating more than just a friendship, but a Tolkien spot that shows the alliance he forged from school friends, through love, & World War I.

Directed by Dome Karukoski, & written by David Gleeson & Stephen Beresford, Tolkien is based on the life on J.R.R. Tolkien. Starring Nicholas Hoult as Tolkien & Lily Collins as his love Edith Bratt, the movie shows how his younger years were formed & how his experiences served as a basis of inspiration for his famous novels. Love & camaraderie, valor in the face of the existential doom of World War I, & redemption through friendship are all aspects of Tolkien’s life that are explored. Tolkien also stars, Colm Meaney, Anthony Boyle, Patrick Gibson, Tom Glynn-Carney, Craig Roberts, Laura Donnelly, Genevieve O’Reilly, Pam Ferris, & Derek Jacobi.

When next you need music to give your alliance of fire that extra dramatic kick, look no further. As Tolkien returned for his friends in the face of evil, we will be there for you with just the right music. We are your fellowship for any trailer music & commercial music you may need. When not working, we’ll be watching Tolkien arriving in theaters on May 10.
