Several decades ago, in an Orange County hospital, Mrs. Diaz set a world record for needing 7 epidurals while giving birth. She didn’t have use of her right foot for nearly 30 days proceeding. These are the trials you must endure when your son is literally born with a guitar in his hands. The doctors could only conjecture that as a fetus Dan became extremely bored with the soothing quiet of the womb and constructed a minuscule six string using spare organs and his Amazon In utero Prime account.

To some his birth defect of only being able hear over 150DBs would be crippling, but Dan has turned it into a lucrative career. When asked about using his unique brand of catalog creations being licensed for Avengers, Green Book, Breakthrough, Dumbo, and more, Dan sagely replied “WHAT!? I CAN’T F**KING HEAR YOU?”

Taking time from producing, engineering and mixing for artists like Jason Mraz and Martin Storrow, Dan reluctantly joined the Hit House composing team after we promised to glue all knobs to “11”. While it has become incredibly difficult for us to use the stove, his award-winning custom scores on campaigns for clients like Toyota, Fox, and Disney have made a few burnt omelets worth the sacrifice.
