WHO YOU GONNA CALL?

WHO YOU GONNA CALL?

The Hit House reimagines an iconic music sequence for Sony’s Ghostbusters trailer teaser.

A ghostly original franchise rebooted, a trailer tease, and a conspicuous music sequence, all combined for Sony Pictures Entertainment’s announcement of the 2016 Ghostbusters movie. To layer in just the right tone for a new generation of characters and movie-goers they asked The Hit House’s Scott Miller to add a contemporary flavor to the classic theme. Playing to just one of the powerful elements of his skillsets, Scott put fingers to keys, mind to task, and “busted” out just the right notes to honor the past and tantalize the future.

Directed by Paul Feig and starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa, McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Neil Casey, Charles Dance, Michael K. Williams, Elizabeth Perkins, Andy García, and Chris Hemsworth, the remake of the Ghostbusters movie from 30 years ago, combines the war against the paranormal with a cast of today’s funniest actors. The plot centers around two authors of a book that suggests ghosts are real. After being ostracized by their academic peers the duo teams up with a nuclear engineer and a subway worker to save Manhattan and the world from a demon and his legion of evil apparitions.

Slay some ghosts, save the world, and make quintessential music? You know who to call.
