RETURN FROM THE JUNGLE

RETURN FROM THE JUNGLE
March 16, 2016 Sally House

“Live the Legend” with Disney’s The Jungle Book TV Spot featuring The Hit House’s “The End of the Jungle” piece.

Not only “The Bare Necessities,” but additional music is what we brought through Create Advertising to Disney’s previews of The Jungle Book. A whole new retelling by Jon Favreau of Rudyard Kipling’s timeless classic necessitates a continuous messaging with contemporary musical sensibilities.

In the “Live the Legend” spot Bagheera (Ben Kingsley) realizes just how special Mowgli (Neel Sethi) truly is. He vows to Baloo (Bill Murray) to return Mowgli from out of the jungle to the human civilization “where he belongs.” Also featuring the voice acting of Idris Elba as Shere Khan, Scarlett Johansson as Kaa, Lupita Nyong’o as Raksha, Giancarlo Esposito as Akela, and Christopher Walken as King Louie, The Jungle Book is set to release April 15.

Composed by The Hit House’s Scott Miller and William Hunt, “The End of the Jungle” vaults listeners from a contemplative wistfulness with rising rhythmic momentum propelling the spot’s plot to a glorious climax. Evoking memories of past melodies the music resolves in a whistled “The Bare Necessities” tune revamped for this generation’s fans of Disney’s The Jungle Book.

We’ll see you in theaters opening night, but ’til then, give the trailer a view, and keep in mind The Hit House will always navigate you safely through any musical jungle.
