Kate Diaz may be under the impression that The Hit House is a billion-dollar, multi-national corporation whose music is used to cure multiple terminal diseases in shelter puppies and orphans.

She is a multi-instrumentalist composer and songwriter who may have a slightly exaggerated impression of The Hit House’s role in eradicating world hunger.

We may have told her we own the patent to several, climate change ending, green energy devices when hearing her scores for documentaries and an animated series on Disney+.

But like…dress for the employees you want, right?

We also ‘fibbed” a tad when asking her to custom compose music to help astronauts fall asleep, when in reality they were for Apple TV and Hulu show trailers.

It’s called good business, don’t hate. See, when trying to hire someone who graduated from Harvard and Berklee, you have to pad your stats a bit. But hey, she works for us now. So like, ends and means and justification and all that.
