Disney’s “A Wrinkle in Time” delivers a sneak peek with The Hit House’s trailer music.
For a special sneak peek of A Wrinkle in Time, Disney chose The Hit House composer Dan Diaz’s song “Danburite,” with vocals by Tori Letzler, from our Spheres: Resonance album to underscore the epic sci-fi adventure film. In a remake, based on author Madeleine L’Engle’s timeless classic novel from 1962, Disney brings back a story of supernatural battle against interplanetary evil.
Directed by Ava DuVernay A Wrinkle in Time underscores the power of love & light over evil & darkness as Meg (Storm Reid), searches across time & space for her astrophysicist father, Alex Murry (Chris Pine). With the help of her genius younger brother Charles Wallace (Deric McCabe), school friend Calvin O’Keefe (Levi Miller), & 3 astral travelers, Mrs. Which (Oprah Winfrey), Mrs. Whatsit (Reese Witherspoon) & Mrs. Who (Mindy Kaling) her quest takes her to a distant planet in the grip of a universe-spanning evil. Through Meg’s journey she discovers the strength inside herself, by accessing her individuality, to overcome fear & triumph over her oppressors.
