The live-action/CGI comedy film, Paddington 2, follows the 2014 world-wide hit Paddington & delivers even more joy to critics & moviegoers alike. Directed by Paul King & written by King & Simon Farnaby, Paddington 2 is based on the stories of Paddington Bear created by Michael Bond. Distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures in the U.S. & opening January 12, the story follows Paddington (voiced by Ben Whishaw) as he is happily settled with the Brown family in London. Slowly he has become a popular member of the local community, spreading joy & marmalade wherever he goes. When his Aunt Lucy’s 100th birthday arrives, Paddington is determined to find the perfect present. Finding a one-of-a-kind pop-up book in Mr. Gruber’s antique shop, he diligently labors to earn the money to purchase it, however his plans are foiled when the book is stolen, & thus Paddington embarks on a mission to catch the thief & recover the gift. Also starring, Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Brendan Gleeson, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi, & Hugh Grant, Paddington 2 is a tour de force in cinema that will warm the recesses of even the coldest of hearts.
